Parent and Toddler Lessons
These classes help parents learn how to teach their children to swim. Babies are welcome from 5 months old and children can remain in these classes until they are ready for Transition or Duckling. There is a huge emphasis on fun with water skills taught through songs and games. Children are taught to have fun and swim in an interactive, gentle, gradual, child paced, friendly curriculum.
Friendly, experienced teacher will enable you to teach your child to swim and gain confidence in the water.
Class includes action songs and water based play.
Changing mats provided.
(Please respect our ratio of one adult per child as it keeps the lessons safe and fun for all.)
Please bring with you:
- Swim nappy & costume for your baby.
- Wet suit if your child is very young or likely to get cold.
- Clean nappy for afterwards.
- Hooded towel and/or bath towel.
- Please do not bring swim rings as we find them unhelpful as a teaching aid.
- Change for lockers (£1 coin).
ON ARRIVAL please check in at reception then make your way to the changing rooms and get yourself and your child changed. Please allow 10 minutes to change prior to the lesson but do not come onto poolside until your lesson time. Please wait for instruction before entering the pool.
