Chesterton Sports Centre opened in the Summer of 2004. With a swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium, grass pitches, tennis courts, aerobics studio and a brand new fitness suite it has become a firm favorite with residents in and around the Cambridge area.
For those customers who find gyms rather daunting and prefer more traditional wa
yes to get fit, the centre has a large sports hall which accommodates badminton, short tennis, football, trampolining and much more. In addition the centre plays host to the many children's activities and courses that are on offer during the term time through the youth programme. In the school holidays we offer a children's Play Scheme that runs from 8.30 - 5.30 during the week.
At the end of a hard day's work (or workout!) why not make the most of our on-site café which provides freshly prepared food and beverages. At the weekends, the area is available to hire for functions and parties. Chesterton Sports Centre operates on a casual 'pay as you play' basis as well as offering single, joint and family membership packages. These are a popular option, especially with regular users as they represent excellent value for money and customers can enjoy unlimited use of many
of the facilities.
